Started by the original owner, Mike Strycker in the 70's as an A&W,  Mike's Family Restaurant has been a locally owned and operated restaurant. The current owners are a married couple who actually met in high school while working for Mike!  Seth and Erin Murphy took over when Mike retired in 2000. They are hands on with customers, employees, day to day operations.  Mike's Place is very fortunate to have repeat customers, loyal long time staff such as Tammy in the kitchen, and Becky running the dining room.  Both of their moms and brothers work there too. Well known for it's draft rootbeer, broasted chicken and fish fry, homemade soups, and excellent breakfasts.  Great prices, friendly waitstaff and convenient location make our restaurant a top pick for families and travelers alike.
